Deep Crease Eyeshadow Technique

Have you ever done something and didn’t realize there was a name for it? I know I’ve done that at least a few times. This deep crease eyeshadow technique is one of those times. I learned how to do this technique pretty early on in my makeup ‘journey’ a few years ago. I had no idea it was an actual technique, though! Ha! So now I feel extra fancy when I demonstrate it on myself. It’s for sure my favorite method of putting on eyeshadow. Why do I love it so much? A few reasons– it’s easy to take it from day to night and it makes my eyes look bigger and emphasizes their shape.

Ombre Eyeshadow Technique

The Ombre eyeshadow technique is so much fun! I can’t believe I hadn’t done this technique before now. Doing an ombre eyeshadow look is a great way to introduce yourself to a smokey eye look. It’s like a smokey eye for beginners!

Another great thing about this Ombre eyeshadow technique is that it can be done with darker shades for a more dramatic look, or you can use softer colors for an everyday look.

Eyeshadow Techniques: The Two Tone

The Two Tone eyeshadow technique sounds a bit like a band from the 1980’s, don’t you think? And even though I’ve been playing with eyeshadows professionally for almost 2 years now (Yes, that’s part of my job. It’s pretty awesome. Here’s 10 reasons you should join me!), I haven’t experimented much with this eyeshadow look for some reason. Thanks to this blog series, I can now say that this is a really fun eyeshadow look to play with!

The Two Tone Eyeshadow technique lets you add a fun pop of color to a neutral eyeshadow look! Bonus-it's easy!
